Community Engagement Facilitator (Youth Wellbeing Network)

Yarmouth, NS

The position is part time (14 hours per week) and pays $22.00 per hour. Starts January 2025 for approximately 6 months. Interested applicants should be self-directed with good interpersonal and time management skills. A knowledge of community resources, programs and youth engagement are an asset. Proficiency with Canva, web development (e.g., wix) and Microsoft Office 365 preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

• Community Asset mapping

• Working with partners to identify resources across 8 domains of wellbeing: Places and spaces, Purpose, Community, Healthy Living, Safety and Security, Relationships, Mental Wellness, Learning and Growing.

• Developing tools to help with system navigation and making connections. This could include a Helping Tree, Service Navigation Guide, Wellbeing Network Website, Surveys, etc.

• Engaging youth in resource development.

• Reliable transportation, internet access, laptop or computer, and cell phone required.
